If your content feels like it’s not landing—don’t scrap the whole thing. Just check the opening line.

Seriously. That’s usually where the problem is.

Your first sentence is either:

  • Pulling people in

  • Or pushing them straight back to cat reels

Want better results? Here’s the fix: Start with the problem your audience already knows they have. Not your intro. Not your brand story. Their pain point.

Let’s flip it:

Instead of:

“We’re proud to launch our new eco-friendly fitness journal that’s thoughtfully designed…”

Try:

“You’ve bought five fitness planners this year and still haven’t filled one. Here’s the last one you’ll ever need.”

Same product. Very different scroll reaction.

Every piece of content should pass this test: Would you keep reading it?

No gimmicks. Just good psychology.
